SP - 005 - Bee Mask - "Elegy for Beach Friday" - a bit of nice, pre-release anticipation writing care of the wonderful Zen Effects. Chris has been looking forward to the release of his definitive anthology of works dating back as far as 2003. A well tempered album of infinite proportions and possibilities will surely be known as a timeless and classic work of modern electronic music. SP - 006 - Temporal Marauder - "Makes You Feel" - one of the greatest electronic albums for the future recorded in the past and compiled by it's only fan in the present. The elusive and sometimes frustrating search for information on Jean Logarin and his bandmates trickles information slowly as the original tapes are all almost finally exposed. Only few unreleased recordings remain from this French mystery unit and we are doing our best to issue them to the highest spec. Resonant Strata does not "believe", but this lp has made them most definitely "feel". Write up here. Red vinyl version sold out, limited black copies remain.
That will be all for summer 2011. Expect an exclusive Spectrum Spools mix at the amazing mnml ssgs blog, as well as a mix and interview for Playground Magazine. Have a nice time and see you again in the fall. Imminent releases from: Container, Positive Shadow, and Palmetto Moon Electronic Group (and buy the new insane tape over at mimaroglu). Big end of the year release plans to be announced. Great releases ahead, and thanks again for your continued support.
here's a track from SP - 007: Container due out late summer / early fall.
